Dear Diary,

I just received my grade for my paper on the novel Night.I learned so many things about the Jews situation during the Second World War. I had to write a 350-400 words relating the life of one of the characters of Night, a novel written by Elie Wiesel.

It wasn’t a project like the other ones,because I had the possibility to be really original. Since I knew my character’s present life (what I read in the book), I decided to create his past life (how he happened to be in this story) and his future life (what happened to him, after the end of the World War 2) in a form of a diary.

My teacher loved it! He thought it was a great idea! Here's my paper…

This is your individual project about the novel Night. Like me, you will be asked to create a diary about one of the various characters of the novel. You’ll have to create the past and the future life of your chosen character. Don’t forget that you already know the present aspect of your character’s life (you read it!). Your story should be plausible and should reflect your character’s personal traits and the setting of the novel (World war 2). Your text should at least be two-pages long (350-400 words). To help you, a list of the characters will be given to you in class. GOOD LUCK!!!
