THE ANIMALS

LESSON # 2

   During this second period, the teacher will explore the various environments in which we can find animals, in preparation for the final project. To do so the students will work in pairs on a sheet where they will find pictures of different environments in which we find animals. Ask students to describe what they see below the picture. Then ask them to tell the whole class what they found. The teacher write this on the board. During the second half of the period, present a movie about animals. Ask students to identify the animals appearing in the movie.

 

Physical setup

-Students work in pairs.

-The board.

-Sheets of different milieus.

-TV.

-Movie Ace Ventura- Pet Detective.

-Naming animals and what they can find in different milieus.

-Listening comprehension.

-By looking at different pictures of milieus, students will be able to identify animals and the characteristics proper to each of them.
