INTRODUCTION

Studying to become an English teacher helped me discover a brand new passion; children. In all my four practica I have learned so much from them and from my experience with them. I wanted to become a teacher for as long as I can remember it and now, it’s finally becoming a reality. Through all my studies at the University I became a new person. I have always been dynamic, original and expressive and I truly think that this is reflected in the way I teach. I am the kind of person who likes to establish a close relationship with my students and it is why I love to develop new ideas about how to teach. I love working with projects and I love cooperative learning, because I think this is one of the best way to help your students acquire autonomy and to develop  their competencies in a new language as much as they can. I decided to create this portfolio in order to present to you the kind of teacher that I am and to help you discover the kind of activities that I use to involve my students in their learning.

I chose four different pieces to include in this portfolio, one is taken from the practicum I did at the primary level and the three others are taken from my last practicum, the one I did with enriched students from secondary 5.
